The 5G spectrum auction in India price approved by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and conducted by the
Indian government in this year 2022 from July 26 was successfully over
with a large bid amount nearly 1.5 lakh Cr’s concluded by the Telecom Minister
Ashwin Vaishnaw on Aug 1st 2022 .Which is the largest sales in spectrum auction
than before one's.
The prime
minister of India told that 5G will roll out in India with very quickly after
Aug 15th in major
Metropolitan Cities. By the experts it is estimated to roll out 5G all over the
India will takes up to September 2023
.Still there are many areas that are not having 4G services.
5G Auction in India:
In Auction may competitors were participated especially Adani
Groups with a subsidiary Adani Data Networks Limited, Reliance Jio, Bharat
Airtel and Vodafone Idea.

With a highest
bid amount of 80,590 Cr rupees for the 3,300 MHz band spectrum.
Second bid it
comes with 39,720 Cr rupees for the 700 MHz band taken by Jio, this band has
highest coverage area and high density spectrum. Even though Bharat Airtel
doesn’t acquire any spectrum of it.
Thirdly 26 GHz
MM band (milli meter) which is totally bid for the 14,709 Cr rupees, this band
is used for the private networks and organizations.
5G network details given by the PM Narendra Modi
5G Roll Out :
Reliance Jio is planning to roll out
the 5G network in 22 circles with each of 10 MHz band for quick expand over
area.
Bharat Airtel also looking forward to
expand the network at the end of this month.
By the expert observation it will take
much time to roll out as the maximum population in India are updated to the 4G services
and smartphones. They need to be upgrade to 5G devices for the usage of 5G
network. So it take a while for the customers to receive the 5G.
Mobile manufactures are also focusing
on 5G devices demand in the market. India is stepping towards the era of 5G.
Most of the users in India are ready to upgrade to 5G network for high
speed internet access to accomplish their needs.
5G will roll out in the 13 major cities
in as the first phase are:
Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad,
Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Jamnagar, Pune, Lucknow
and Mumbai.
The Telecom companies are focusing on the for their expansion the network in September 29th 2022 by prime minister.
5G Speed in India:
According to the test and reports by the government it takes
an average of 100 Mbps up to 20Gbps maximum coverage.
It is 2.5 Gbps of speed when tested by the Snapdragons 5G
modem .
5G is expected to obtain 100 times more faster than 4G in
speed and establishing good connectivity, the latency will also be low.
Streaming videos, live conferences, gaming and online services
can access quickly.
It can consume 1GB data more faster than 4G.
5G price in India:
Based on the reports the price of 5G will be expected 20 to
30 percent higher than 4G prices as a person paying 150 rupees for a 4G prepaid
plan, it will take nearly 200 rupees for the same prepaid plan of 5G in India.
The price will be announced soon by the respective carrier providers
after roll out of the 5G network .
