Russian president Vladimir Putin offers $16,000 women to have 10 or more children to repopulate the country.

The president of Russia Vladimir Putin recent announced the news which he is offering the money of amount $16,000 (1 million Russian rubles, Rs13 lakh) to women who have 10 or more children.

Vladimir Putin reintroduced the award called "Mother Heroine" which was introduced first by the Soviet Leader Joseph Stalin to encourage the women to have more children and raise them well, expecting large families with patriotic.

This was spoke by the Russian political and Security specialist Dr Jenny Mathers broadcaster Henry Bonsu on Times Radio about the Mother Heroine, the scheme to increase the population of the country.

Henry Bonsu said, “A soviet era award for women who have ten or more children, it is called the Mother Heroine an soviet era Honorable title. It’s an attempt to restore Russia’s demographic crisis that has been deepened by the war in Ukraine.”

Also he describe the reasons that demographics of the country is not well from past few years and due to population declining, Covid-19 pandemic and Ukraine war.

They are facing heavy loss in military due to Ukraine war, the army strength is poor. So Vladimir Putin and Dr Jenny Mathers are encouraging the initiation of Mothers Heroine Scheme to raise the population.

The money will be awarded to those who give birth to 10 children ,when the 10th child have completed the first year and the remaining children should be healthy and not dead under any military circumstances and diseases will also be considered, then the mother will be awarded $16,000 along with the Mother Heroine title.

The motto of the program is inspire the Russian women to give birth and raise the 10 or more children to save the country from demographical crisis from the 1990's and recent times of pandemic and Ukraine war.

Putin signed on this Monday  that certified mothers can have the benefit of the  scheme Mother Heroine and $16,000 for country demographics crisis.

Mother Heroine is a soviet civilian honorary title or award which was established in the year 1944 July 8 by the soviet supreme Joseph Stalin to women who bare to give birth and raise 10 or more children along with a certification by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union. They will get  pensions from the government.

The award was categories based on The Order Of Maternal Glory the civilian award under the title of Mother Heroine.

They are totally three categories of classes :

1. 1st class - mother who raise 9 children or more comes under this category.

2. 2nd class - mother who raise 8 children.

3. 3rd class - mother who raise 7 children.

Conclusion:

Having 10 children is not only option and the money provided through the scheme is not sufficient to raise all the 10 children and its hard to their parents to provide essential needs and good education to them. Just increasing the population at a high rate doesn't made the country army strong it lead may problems like poverty and social problem.
